Just announced, Disney Cruise Line will bring a tale as old as time to the Walt Disney Theater on the Disney Dream! An all-star creative team has been assembled and they are now developing a brand new musical production, "Beauty and the Beast," inspired by Disney's live-action adaptation of the animated classic. Guest will once again fall in love with the enchanting fairytale as this new production of "Beauty and the Beast" celebrates the romance, adventure and magic of the live-action film, weaving in the charm and nostalgia of the award-winning animated feature.
"Beauty and the Beast" aboard the Disney Dream will bring the timeless fable to life like never before featuring a style of theater that interlaces classic storytelling elements with cutting edge technology, to create a unique, theatrical experience in the 1,340-seat Walt Disney Theater. An innovative take on the story will transform renowned songs into spectacular, show-stopping numbers, and lavish costumes and puppetry will bring a fresh perspective to beloved characters.
"Beauty and the Beast" will debut during the Disney Dream voyage departing November 6, 2017, joining an incredible line-up of Broadway-style stage productions aboard the shop, including "The Golden Mickeys" and "Disney's Believe."
The Disney Wonder has just had several new spaces added to her, as well as the new "Frozen" stage show joining the line up onboard this ship, and now the Disney Dream is getting a brand new stage show. Things have really been busy with Disney Cruise Line this year. Cruise itineraries through May 2018 are currently open for booking. Disney has released an official opening date for AVATAR - Land of Pandora in Disney's Animal Kingdom park of May 27, 2017. The newest land, which will feature a family-friendly boat ride through the Nav'i River and a thrill ride flying you over Pandora on the flying animals seen in the movie (combination of a horse/flying dragon) will surely not disappoint. It's going to be an immersive experience like nothing seen before in any of Disney's other theme parks. Disney has been known to do a quiet soft opening with no announcement prior to the official opening date for attractions anticipated to have high demand and potential long wait times. Will this one open early...time will tell?
I think this new area is going to really change the game at Disney's Animal Kingdom park once it opens. What do you think? Comment below.

"Happily Ever After," is a new nighttime spectacular that will combine the magic of Disney storytelling, beloved Disney characters, fireworks and so much more, will debut at Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World® Resort on May 12, 2017.
The spectacular will inspire you to seek your out and find your own "Happily Ever After: by showcasing some of the greatest adventures Disney characters have taken to achieve their dreams. The show will feature the latest fireworks and pyrotecnics and original animation, plus a heart-tugging original score. And thanks to the inclusion of state of the art projection mapping technology, more Disney characters than ever before will be featured in the show, including moments from "Moana," "Brave," "Big Hero 6," "Zootopia," "The Princess and the Frog," "Aladdin" and many others.
The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace will continue to offer up a scrumptious way to view the nighttime fun as "Happily Ever After" makes its debut.
What are your thoughts about this change of moving away from the classic "Wishes" fireworks that have always been in Magic Kingdom? Are you excited or a little sad about this? Comment below. I"d love to hear what you think about this. I personally love "Wishes," so I have mixed emotions about this change.
Don't forget to "Wish" upon that star!
